Have had mine for a year in the hatch only issue I have had was one time I was cutting a key by code on my way to the job and started cutting before I turned on the car. Well the power bumped to the ac port which made the cutter cut into the block. So either have the vehicle on during the whole process or wait til it’s finished cutting before starting the vehicle it’s plugged into

Im always using a Triton key machine because it's a best accuracy for cutting residential and commercial keys.

Accumulation of error, machine is cutting high. Adjust the guide on the "original". Although if you only cut from the original key you would get perfect keys until you wore away the original.

Copies are going to be imperfect, especially when using older machines like that one. Obviously, you will eventually get one that doesn't work. What is more interesting is why a copy of an older worn original has problems?

Yes, completely out of tolerance by the time you got to the eighth key that’s something that all General customers should know so it’s something whenever they ask me to duplicate keys. I always ask how well that key works that they currently have because that will make a difference on whether the duplicate key would work correctly or not. 😊

Best lock I've had, 3 years abd easy to fix. Just make sure when you install it. You install it correctly or when you hit the schlage. Button it will unlock that's way at the end of the vidoe it wouldn't lock when you touched the schlage button.

My lock stopped working after 2 days. It is not the battery. I have seen a few videos to fix it. It is too complicated. My advice don’t buy this.

what do you need to do to service and C&B lock

I worked in a hotel where every room had cheap electronic keypad safes . The number 1 issue was handbag straps sticking in the door or the little internal carpet getting caught in the door on closing . Always took me 2 minutes with master code ( not 6x 0 ) and a good tug ..

Ime curious how much you charge to open one of thoes cheep sentery safes. They are around 200$. Would it be better to pry it open with a crowbar and buy a new one
